This is a 1/87 Boley engine
with 2 Matchbox. You can see that these particular Matchbox look OK next to the "true" 1/87 scale vehicle.
Spec cast CVC (FHP), Johnny Lighting and
MB CVC Taxi, with a Code 3 F350 Ambulance in the background. Although the MB is a little small in comparison, I think
it works OK.
Here's a Corgi HUMVEE with a Johnny Lighting, with a First Gear
10 Wheel Intl. Pup in the background. The corgi looks great, and although the JL is a little smaller, they look OK on
their own.
This GL charger looks huge compared to the MB, other GLs, Johhny
Lighting Pick up and Spec Cast CVC
Did I mention this new MB is a great casting, with a
great tampo (for once) and looks fine compared to the JL Taxi and other vehicles in the background
Here's a GL challenger next to a Racing Champions
F150 with a lot of M2 machines in the back.
Spec Cast CVC, GL Challenger,
GL Marauder, Code 3 Ambulance
GL Challengers
with a Spec Cast 6 wheel Frieghtliner Box.
Spec Cast CVC and
MB charger- looks perfect to me...
GL Charger and MB version ( I know it needs a wheel swap- it's
on the list)
Spec Cast CVC and GL
Charger... do the math
Racing Champions (Miami
PD) vs GL Charger vs. JL Caprice
Boley, MB and Spec
Cast Roll- Backs
MB Real Working Rig Intl. and Boley Dump
This shot really shows
the true scale of the MB vs. the Spec Cast
These 'oversized' Matchbox
and Johnny Lightning look right at home getting out of the way of this 1/50th scale TWH engine. Finally, something to
use all those "too bigs" for.
Here's how a 1/64 engine stacks
up next to it's big brother in 1/50th scale. These aren't the same apparatus chassis or bodies, but you can
see the TWH dwarfs the Code 3 model.
