I finally broke down and got one of the TWH fire engines collectors are raving about.  I've also got a few 1/50th scale trucks and some oversized cars that seem to work so far.  These are my first 1/50th scale vehicles- the TWH collectibles are superbly detailed, but are also pretty expensive- so there won't be an entire fleet of these anytime soon... in fact, I plan on asking Santa for one of the rollbacks, maybe one of the service trucks, and I figure I'll pick up the Miami-Dade engine when it comes out, and that's gonna be it.  I just can't seeing spending that much when I could get (4) First Gear 1/64 trucks- with working front axles  and opening doors for the money. (Or about (8) 1/43 First Response Replicas) But anyway, these are very detailed models...
