Here are some close-ups of some of the billboards posted all along the highway and practically
on or atop every building on the layout. Although based on real places and things, with a lot of obscure references...most
are completely fictional. You can see some of them are older, and in a few shots the overpasses nearby just magically
disappear.

Old billboard sign- you can see a lot of Matchbox and some Hot Wheels in these
shots- before I had enough Johnny Lightnings and others to populate the set- ups
I use a cheap label maker program and a Testors decal program to make all the
signs- printed on a 'nothing special' HP inkjet printer. I do use good quality photo paper- and sometimes spray
it with clear coat- because the sun will quickly fade the billboards otherwise.
